The Georgia Music Hall of Fame joins Friends of Johnny Mercer and the
city of Savannah in a centennial celebration of its native son, Johnny
Mercer, who would have been 100 years old on Nov. 18, 2009. The
exhibition will chronicle the career of the renowned singer, songwriter
and lyricist and will complement a year-long series of events
commemorating his life and achievements. Complete centennial

This live star talk explores the constellations and planets visible from Middle Georgia.
Updated each week, this program provides the latest
information about current and upcoming celestial events for those who
want to learn how to find constellations or planets in the sky, or
increase their knowledge of astronomy.
Note: Because the main Museum building is usually closed, seating for Sky Over Macon
will be made through the Planetarium outside door, starting approx.
10-15 minutes before showtime. Program lasts approx. 45 minutes.
