Location: Corner of Poplar Street and MLK Jr. Blvd
Rain or shine, farmers and crafters will sell an assortment of organic, locally grown produce, plants and hometown crafts in downtown Macon at the corner of Poplar and MLK Jr. Blvd.
Vendors change weekly, so the market always has new things to offer. Among the offering from vendors are homemade goat’s milk soap, free range eggs, organic and heirloom vegetable and herb plants, a wide assortment of cut flowers, locally grown produce including micro greens, tomatoes, strawberries, garlic, onions, radishes, cilantro, Amish items and more seasonal produce. Hand crafted toys, handmade jewelry, handcrafted purses and hair accessories, information from The Weston Price Foundation, health supplements and vitamins, face painting and other children's activities all combine to make The City Market on the Green a great place to spend Saturday mornings.
Homemade cakes and breads compliment the delicious fair trade coffee from Cafe Campisino in Americus GA. Plenty of seating and shade is available on Poplar Street so grab the children, your spouse or a friend and come down to see what The City Market on the Green is all about.
