Macon, Georgia-The 2012 Air Force JR ROTC Drill Championships will be held March 17, 2012 at the Macon Centreplex. The competition will start at 9 a.m. and conclude with an awards ceremony at 5 p.m. There are 33 high schools competing with 10 schools from Georgia. Justin Gates, Air Force Nationals Competition Director, states, "We are excited to be back in central Georgia. Macon is a great location since it is near Robins Air Force Base. We will have teams as far away as Texas, and we can't wait to show off the city."

The Air Force Nationals remain the annual home to many of the Air Force JR ROTC programs from across the United States. Most commonly referred to as the "Air Force Nationals", the Air Force National JR Drill Championships have been designed to promote the positive aspects and benefits of JR ROTC as well as give members a chance to compete within a safe competition.
