Macon, Georgia-   For the second time Macon will host the Georgia School Public Relations Association's Annual Conference (GSPRA). The conference will be held November 14-15th at the Macon Centreplex. The theme of this year's conference is, "Bringing it Home: Major League Advice for Winning School Public Relations."

"Our conference brings Georgia's school Public Relations professionals together to share best practices, recognize outstanding work through an annual awards presentation and learn from their peers in the state," said GSPRA Annual Conference Chair Barbara Jacoby, Director of Public Information, Communications and Partnerships for the Cherokee County School District.

The conference will include three nationally renowned speakers: Rick Kaufman, Ken DeSieghardt and Stan Alleyne and sessions on topics including crisis management, diversity communications, stakeholder relations and Georgia's Vision for Public Education. 

 

Chartered in 1973, the Georgia School Public Relations Association (GSPRA) is a professional organization for school communicators and school-community relations specialists. GSPRA is an affiliate of the National Schools Public Relations Association (NSPRA) and has been designated a Blue Ribbon Chapter of NSPRA for the past 25 years.
