Macon, Georgia- What would you give to have that first draft in your hands, a manuscript ready to revise, to shape into something special? The 4th Annual Crossroads Writers Conference is October 6, 2012, at the Wilson Convention Center in Macon, Georgia. We kick things off Friday, October 5th, with the Freelancers Summit, a special half day dedicated to freelance writers.

At the Crossroads Writers Conference, we recognize that sometimes the hardest thing about writing... is writing. We've designed our conference to give you the insight, motivation and connections to get your writing done. That's why we bring such creative, versatile and prolific professionals.

But we also want you to have a good time. In fact, the conference is uniquely structured with lots of breaks for social interaction. The schedule anchored by Talk Blocks, two blocks of short, focused talks by our headliners about the things that move them the most. We follow each one with Speak Easy informal panels and breakout workshops. At lunch, the founder of National Novel Writing Month, Chris Baty, is delivering our keynote discussion.

Some of our other guests--novelists, screenwriters, poets, memoirists, comic book writers and freelancers--include New York Times bestseller Adam Mansbach, the critically-acclaimed Bernice McFadden, cult lit "penmonkey" Chuck Wendig, writer/producer Nichelle Tramble, "Louder Than a Bomb" co-founder Kevin Coval, Forbes.com blogger Susannah Breslin, Ga Writers Association co-founder Tony Grooms, writing coach Rosemary Daniell, graphic novelist Robert Venditti and several others.

Check out the Wordsmith MegaSupreme package which includes a night at the Marriott City Center Hotel with full access to the conference, an exclusive reception and Sunday brunch.
