Macon, Georgia - The Georgia State Square Dancers Association (GSSDA) will hold the 40th Annual Convention on September 15-17, 2011 at the Macon Centreplex. The convention will culminate with a "Last Square Standing" Fun Dance on Saturday, September 17th in the Plus Hall at the Macon Centreplex at 2 pm. The dance is open to all dancers, and is a one-time only event at the 40th Annual Convention.

Participants are in for a fun-filled weekend of dancing, seminars, vendors, and a variety of other activities. "We have something for everyone" says Willis Crump, GSSDA President "We have over fifty callers, cuers, line dance instructors, and contra prompters on staff to ensure top quality dancing at this year's convention. So, start making your plans and get your ribbons now, and we'll see you on the square dance floor soon!" Advance Tickets for the 2-day celebration are $25 per person through August 31st, and $30 at the Door. One-day tickets are also available for $15 per person through August 31st.
