Georgia Junior Beta Club Convention Heads to Macon November 17th-18th

The 34th Annual Georgia Junior Beta Club Convention is being held in Macon on Nov. 17-18, 2016 at the Marriott Macon City Center. The convention theme, “Beta Above and Beyond,” challenges participants to achieve, serve, and lead more while succeeding beyond expectations. There’s expected to be 5,000 attendees with 1,200 hotel rooms booked.
The event will feature individual, team, club, and candidate competitions that allow students opportunities to showcase a variety of skills and talents including academic achievement, artistic creativity, critical thinking skills, and more. Competition will begin on Thursday, Nov. 17 and winners will be announced during the closing session on Friday, Nov. 18.
“National Beta is excited to return to Macon where over five thousand Georgia Betas will compete in competitions ranging from robotics to visual and performing arts,” says Bobby Hart, Chief Operations Officer for The National Beta Club.
