Macon, Georgia-The Georgia State Square Dancers Association (GSSDA) will hold their 43rd Annual Convention, September 18-20, 2014 at the Macon Centreplex. The theme of this year's convention is "Hear the Beat-Move Your Feet!" Advance tickets for the celebration are $25 per person and $30 at the door. One-day tickets are also available for $20 per person. Youth ages 17 and under attending with square dancing family are free.
Participants will have a fun-filled weekend of dancing, seminars, a fashion show, and a variety of other activities. Carol Slentz, GSSDA board member states "September has been proclaimed Square Dance Month by Governor Deal and we are very excited to celebrate in Macon.
