MACON, Ga. -- Macon is set to have a television series that was filmed in Macon last year, returning for another year.
According to Aaron Buzza, the Georgia Film Liaison for Bibb County, the 'Go Big Show" will start filming this week.
At the Commission meeting, County attorney Michael McNeill, stated that the show will cause the closure of Popular Street from 5th Street to 6th Street on Friday, August 6 all day.
The skate park at Carolyn Crayton Park will also close on August 9th and the 12th for filming.
McNeil says that most of the series will be filmed at the Macon Coliseum but these other two public areas will cause closures in the area.
The "Go Big Show" season one was also filmed last year at the Macon Coliseum.
