The Macon-Bibb County Convention and Visitors Bureau revealed their new branding at the 35th Annual Meeting on Thursday.

The new slogan is "Where The Soul Lives."

Board members and partners met Thursday at Middle Georgia State University to learn more about the new logo and slogan aimed to showcase all that Macon offers.

"We've launched two new programs, one is Macon Soul Stops, of places where visitors can go to experience soul. And then the second is Macon Soul Food, places where visitors can go and enjoy soul food in our community," Monica Smith, President and C.E.O. of the CVB

Smith said the CVB will be marketing Macon as it always has but focusing more on the soul of the city.
