Macon, Georgia- The Macon-Bibb County Convention and Visitors Bureau (MBCCVB) has promoted Kimberly Payne-Ward to Senior Business Development Manager and Kristen Simonton has been promoted to Business Development Manager.

Kimberly Payne-Ward has recently been promoted to Senior Business Development Manager of the Macon CVB. She previously held the position of Business Development Manager. Kimberly has worked for over 15 years in the Convention and Trade Show industry. Her previous position was Director of Sales for Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott.  As a Business Development Manager, her experience has prepared her to promote Macon as a conventions destination for trade professionals, national associations, and national attractions.  Kimberly will serve as Senior Business Development Manager for the Medical, Association, Corporate, and Sports meeting markets.

Kristen Simonton is a native of Macon, GA and has been with the MBCCVB team since July 2011. She currently works as a Business Development Manager covering the SMERF and corporate markets. Prior to this role, Kristen served as Marketing and Membership Coordinator before transitioning to Sales and Service Coordinator at the CVB. Kristen holds an Executive MBA from Wesleyan College and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Savannah State University.
