Macon, Georgia- The Macon-Bibb County Convention and Visitors Bureau (MBCCVB) has added two new employees to the MBCCVB team. Kimberly Payne-Ward joined the Convention Sales team as Business Development Manager and Timothy Bush joined the Marketing team as Marketing Manager.

Kimberly Payne-Ward has worked for over 15 years in the Convention and Trade Show industry. Her previous position was Director of Sales for Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott.  As a Business Development Manager, her experience has prepared her to promote Macon as a conventions destination for trade professionals, national associations, and national attractions.  Kimberly will serve as Business Development Manager for the Religious, Fraternal, Government, and Sports meeting markets.

Timothy Bush has worked in tourism for nine years. His previous positions include Executive Director of the Beauregard Tourist Commission in DeRidder, LA and the last seven years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Ruston Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau. Timothy also earned his Travel Marketing Professional certification (TMP) from Southeast Tourism Society (STS) and was named one of their "Forty for the Future: Forty Tourism Leaders Under 40".
