Macon, Georgia- The Georgia of Future Farmers of America (FFA) will host the 88th Georgia FFA Convention at the Macon Centreplex, April 28-30, 2016. The convention‘s theme is “Amplify-Boost Your Impact”.
More than 6,000 students from around Georgia are expected to attend the convention which will feature general sessions, award presentations and motivational speakers. There will also be various community service projects around Macon in cooperation with Rebuilding Macon
Ben Lastly, the Executive Secretary of the Georgia FFA Association states, “The Georgia FFA is proud to call Macon our convention home for the 11th consecutive year. We expect another great crowd of more than 6,000 FFA members, advisors and sponsors to attend. The purpose of the FFA is to use the vehicle of agricultural education to grow young people into the leaders, producers, consumers and educators of tomorrow. This convention will highlight our best and brightest. Our students will converge on Macon for awards and competition, but also to be involved in community service and grow as leaders. We expect a tremendous convention, and appreciate the city of Macon for hosting us.”
