MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - A global television show is filming in Macon.
Music Voyager is a travel and music television series which airs nationwide on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) network and around the world.
Customers at Taste and See Coffee Shop on Poplar Street got a chance to watch as Music Voyager's crew filmed an episode featuring local singer and songwriter Louise Warren.
The show's director says he's impressed with Macon's music and residents.
"I think the people are incredibly friendly and as Otis Redding III said the other day, there's something in the water here musically and I think we felt that call on us you know in just the couple of days we've been here."
Music Voyager's crew has been in Macon filming this week. They caught a concert at Cox Capitol Theater and toured some of Macon's historic sites.
