MACON, Ga. -- Visitors and community members alike have a new way to tour Macon's music history.
Several Macon organizations presented the all new Macon music history tour brochure at a press conference on Wednesday that will let music fans learn about Macon's history at their own pace.
The Historic Macon Foundation, Visit Macon and Rock Candy Tours created the brochure, which features the city's historical music landmarks.
Jessica Walden with Rock Candy Tours said the brochure puts Macon on a whole new level.
"So it's exciting that people can do their own self-guided tour by looking at the music history plaques and learning more, or they're able to even go further into it deep dive with it on Rock Candy Tours. For us it's just been another exciting example of having a music tourism product," said Walden.
Anyone interested can pick up a brochure at the Visit Macon building located at 450 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
