MACON, Ga. -- Visit Macon hosted an annual meeting at the Anderson Conference Center on Thursday.

The meeting took place at noon. It included an awards ceremony and a year end recap.

During the ceremony, the 2019 Otis Hughes Tourism and B.J. Cain Top of the Line awards were presented.

The Otis Hughes Tourism award was given to the person who contributed significantly to the Macon tourism industry through giving their time and skills in order to support the growth of Macon tourism. The B.J. Cain Top of the Line award was presented to a person who goes above and beyond the duty of working with visitors by providing exemplary service.

Craig Dominey, Senior Film Location Specialist & Camera Ready Program Manager for the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Film & Entertainment Division, presented at the meeting. He works with companies to answer local questions and connect with locations throughout Georgia. Shane Bridges, singer and songwriter, also performed at the meeting.
