Visit Macon & Miles Partnership help local businesses with free workshop to improve online presence

MACON, GA (April 20, 2023) — Visit Macon has partnered with Miles Partnership to conduct an audit of hundreds of online Macon business listings across Google, Bing and Trip Advisor. As part of the audit, Miles Partnership is leading a Fundamentals of Google Business Profiles training on Wednesday, May 10 at 3pm at Visit Macon. This program is free and open to any local hotels, restaurants and attractions who are looking to make their online presence more accessible to visitors. 

Google Business Profiles are the single largest source of organic (non-paid) exposure for businesses online and may be the first impression with Macon visitors. During the webinar attendees will learn:

  • How their business is surfaced in Google search and travel products
  • Claiming and verifying your business profile
  • Keeping core business information current
  • Overview of tools available in Google

The training will be in person at Visit Macon with refreshments provided. Businesses also have the option to attend online by registering here:
