What's the deal with all the bacon...in Macon?!

In 2017, the Macon community and fans of the Georgia based wood-bat collegiate summer baseball team in the Coastal Plain League voted on the name ‘Macon Bacon’ and now offers some of the most coveted athletic merchandise outside the major leagues! Now, even when the season isn’t in full swing, you can still experience the next best thing in the South... the food! This delicious culinary journey will take you to 20 of Macon’s most iconic restaurants to seek out dishes that highlight the most indulgent ingredient... BACON! Wrapped, sprinkled, topped, or even as the star of the show, the dishes along the trail are sure to pack the tastiest punch! Take a couple of days, weeks, or an entire year to try them all and collect your prizes! If you are looking for exclusive Macon Bacon merch, you can visit their online store by clicking here, or their gift shop, The Pork Shop, is open every Monday - Friday from 8AM. until 5PM on non-game days. If you visit during their Summer season game days, The Pork Shop is open until the end of the game.

Earn Badges Two Ways:

How to Redeem prizes

Bring you phone with you to the Downtown Visitor Center and simply, pull up your profile and show us the number of badges you would like to redeem for a prize. Alternatively, you may also bring receipts or photos of receipts if you do not have a smartphone. You can find a print passport at the Downtown Visitor Center.
