It's Strawberry Picking Season
The warmer weather means it's time to pick some strawberries at Lane Southern Orchards! Located in Fort Valley, Ga., it's less than 30 minutes from Macon just off of I-75. Their 6-acre, you-pick, we-pick strawberry patch is open through May for all ages to grab a bucket and pick sweet strawberries to take home. While you're there, dine at the Peachtree Café, take a seasonal tour through the peach orchards, enjoy homemade peach ice cream, grab a rocking chair while the kids play on the farm-themed playground, & shop at the indoor roadside market. They're open daily from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
