The Tubman Museum
is out with the old and in with the new. Tomorrow, April 17, from 6-8pm at 340 Walnut Street in Downtown Macon, everyone is cordially invited to come out and celebrate the old location of the Tubman Museum. Anyone is welcome to fellowship and reminisce on the beautiful memories and history of the building that provided the community with African American history, art and culture. There will be live music and refreshments. Free of cost for members and $10 for non-members.
The grand opening of the new Tubman Museum is May 16-17 and will be held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Pan African Festival.
