Although the hoopla of the Cherry Blossom Festival is dying down, that doesn't mean the celebration is over. Macon's pinkest party still has a few events left on the calendar for the month of April.

The Dirty Guv'nahs in Concert with Molly Stevens
April 2

The Cherry Blossom Festival will welcome this nationally recognized rock band. This six-piece band is known for their soulful style and classic Rock N' Roll techniques. Macon native Molly Stevens will join them on stage at Cox Capitol Theatre. Tickets start at $15 and are available through

Just Tap'd Taste of the South Craft Beer Festival
April 10

Come sample a variety of Georgia craft beers from all around the Peach State along with enjoying musical performances and food in beautiful downtown Macon. Guests can also join the fun by entering in the corn hole tournament or playing a variety of other games such as giant Jenga and Kan Jam. This event is free admission for all, and tickets for beer tasting will be offered to guests 21+ years of age.

Macon Mud Run
April 11

Come run in the 7K and 5K course filled with obstacles, pond crossings and tunnel crawls. The 5K race can be run individually or as a member of a 4-person team. The race will take place at Hephzibah Children's Home.

Magnolia Soap Box Derby
April 11
11am -3pm

Watch 30 teams compete for bragging rights and the title of soapbox derby champions. This event is free to watch and takes place in Washington Park.
