Jan 8- Cosmic Charlie at the Cox Capitol Theater
For those of you who love music with a dark side, this band's high energy will have the crowd excited and upbeat throughout the whole concert. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets range from $10-13.
Jan 8-9 Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story
The Grand Opera House will feature the "world's most successful rock and roll musical" of the past 25 years. You and your friends will be amazed about the story of Buddy Holly, his life and career. Doors open from 7:30-9:30 pm. Tickets cost $68 in Area I, $58 in Area II, and $45 in the boxes.
Jan 9-17 "A Chorus Line"
Check out the 1975 Musical that won a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award. Gypsies audition for a Broadway musical to be held at Theater Macon. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (60 +), $15 for students (up to age 22). The starting time varies. For more information call 478-746-9486.
Jan 14 - An Evening with Keller Williams
Get ready for a spectacular musical performance with the recording artist, Keller Williams, at the Cox Capitol Theater. Doors open at 8:00 pm, and the show starts at 9:00 pm. Tickets are anywhere from $20-25.
Jan 14 - Organ Interlude with Guest Organist Fletcher Anderson
Check out St. Joseph's Catholic Church as it will feature Organist Fletcher Anderson. The concert begins at noon, and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact 478-745-1631.
Gregg Allman
From January 12, 13, 15, & 16 - Get ready to party with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Gregg Allman, at the Grand Opera House. He is a founding member of one of Macon's all-time favorite legends, the Allman Brothers Band. The doors open at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $49.50 - $74.50 in advance and $97.50 at the door. There will be limited gold circle and box seats available.
Jan 16 -The MSO & Windborne's Music of Michael Jackson
Enjoy the lovely sounds of Windborne's musical interpretation of Michael Jackson and all of his hits at the Macon City Auditorium. The show starts at 7:30 pm -9:45 pm. General admission for the Balcony is $15. Table for 10 is $400-450. When you purchase a table, you are allowed to bring your own food and beverage.
