THE International CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL 2020 IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE ESCALATION OF THE SITUATION SURROUNDING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19).   In the spring time, cherry blossoms bloom around the world. Macon, Georgia is no exception. These pretty petals have been a city staple for quite some time. They are a welcoming sign of spring and fun in Middle Georgia- particularly with events such as the International Cherry Blossom Festival.

Where to See Macon's Cherry Blossom Trees

Spring is almost here, the cherry blossom trees are soon going to bloom and will be seen all around Macon. While you're driving through the city, consider taking the scenic route to view Macon's 350,000 plus Yoshino cherry blossom trees. The trail, which runs from Central City Park to Bass Road, provides the best view of the beautiful blossoms.

The pinkest party on Earth is happening in Macon, Georgia during the 2017 International Cherry Blossom Festival from March 25 - April 2. The beautiful blossoms are the perfect backdrop for a photo!  Here's a list of the top photo spots in Macon during the Festival.
