JAM's purpose is to: Encourage and support the creation, presentation, and preservation of jazz music. Support the creation of new audiences for jazz music. Provide education and information about jazz. Encourage young musicians to learn and appreciate jazz. Develop a network among local and regional jazz advocates. Increase awareness of jazz events and musicians in our community.
