The park provides so many opportunities to see and experience nature, and some people are lucky enough to capture them on film! David Byrd has done wonderful work in the community for many years and has provided countless photos for the park's social media pages. He will be the main guide for the morning walk as he shows visitors some of the best places to see wildlife and he will discuss the best kinds of equipment to use when trying to capture wildlife photos. See the photographs attached to the page to get an idea of his work! The walk will begin at 7:30am at the Great Temple Mound parking lot, so you may park there. The walk will likely center around the Opelofa Trail, boardwalk, and River Trail, but is subject to change. This is a free event with no reservation necessary. The walk will begin promptly at 7:30am so we can beat the heat. The park gates will be open at 7am and the Visitor Center will be open from 7:00am-7:20am so you may use the restroom and fill water bottles before
