Experience an afternoon of inspiration with Macon Bibb Citizen Advocacy as they celebrate 39 years of creating relationships in Macon and Bibb County that protect and enhance the lives of our neighbors with developmental disabilities. THE POWER OF TWO is an annual celebration that brings the community together for a concert of epic proportion highlighting the value of personal relationships in all our lives.  Enjoy uplifting, dynamic music as the choirs of Union Baptist and Lizzie Chapel Baptist join the talents of Big Mike, Louise Warren, Harold Thomas and gospel sensation Soul’s Desire at Porter Auditorium on the Wesleyan College campus on August 12th at 3pm.  There will also be a silent auction during intermission and throughout the show – deep discounts will be possible on a variety of goods and services in Macon.  Tickets for this event are only $10 at the door; $5 for students with ID and senior citizens.  Put it on your calendar and get your juices flowing with a Saturday afternoon that will take you through the next week and beyond; you’ll be tapping your feet for days.
