Drum Performance at The Tubman Museum

Take a soulful journey through time, from Africa to America at the Tubman African American Museum, the largest facility in the southeast devoted solely to African American art, history and culture. See colorful exhibits on Harriet Tubman, African American Inventors, Georgia artists, and the incredible story of William & Ellen Craft. The exhibits change quarterly so there is always something new to discover.


Lunch & Tour at The Grand Opera House 

Built in 1883, this historical theatre has hosted Charlie Chaplin, Sarah Bernhardt, and Harry Houdini. Stop by and enjoy a concert by the Macon Symphony, a play in a Broadway series, or other events. Explore the beautifully restored historic Grand Opera House. Group will be led in a private tour featuring a unique behind the scenes experience. A Grand Opera House staff member will share The Grand's history while giving your group the opportunity to explore rarely seen areas and see special equipment, such as Harry Houdini's original trap door!
