Lake Tobesofkee in Macon
Located just outside Macon's city limits, Lake Tobesofkee is a year-round recreation area covering nearly 1800 acres with 35 miles of shoreline. Three parks, each with a white sandy beach offer activities such as swimming, fishing, boating, camping, water skiing, sailing and picnicking, are located around the lake. All three parks offer campsites with modern conveniences.
The park is located on Moseley Dixon Road and is open year-round, 6 a.m.- 9 p.m., Monday – Sunday. The park provides:
- Spacious paved camping and RV sites
- Large beaches
- Picnic pavilions
- Public rentals including enclosed, climate-controlled pavilion perfect for reunions & meetings
- Children's playgrounds
- Disc Golf Course

Sandy Beach Park
The park, located on Moseley Dixon Road near I-475, is a seasonal day-use park that's generally open Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The park provides:
- Picnic pavilions
- Four new Pickle Ball Courts
- Clean and well-maintained grounds
- Large beaches topped with pure, white sand
- Lifeguards on duty during the Summer season
- Children's playground
Arrowhead Park
The park, located on Columbus Road near U.S. 80, is open year-round with park hours from 6:00 a.m.- 10 p.m. The park provides:
- Full electrical and water hook-ups and disposal stations for RV guests
- Boat ramps
- Clean bath facilities
- Coin operated laundries
- Full-time staff of park rangers for your convenience & safety
- Small swimming beach
- Children's playground
