I AM Macon
"I AM Macon" is an interactive customer service program designed to unite and educate the business community about the branding of Macon as a superior visitor and meeting destination. In 2015, visitors spent $347.68 million in Macon, which provided more than $350 in tax relief for each household in Macon-Bibb County. Understanding how to reach out and communicate to visitors will help both your business and the city as a whole.
“I AM Macon” is a free 3-hour training workshop to inform and educate your employees about Macon. Trained individuals become official "Macon Tourism Ambassadors" and are empowered with information that will allow them to provide superior customer service to Macon visitors. Ambassadors are armed with useful facts, figures, and "Did You Know" anecdotes about Macon for use in interaction with customers, ensuring they receive true "southern hospitality.”
“I AM Macon” can also be adapted and shortened to fit your business specifically. We can conduct the program at your place of business and provide a condensed training so your employees can learn about Macon, where to find additional support and resources, and fine-tune their customer service. This adaptation, we feel, allows us to partner in training your employees while not committing them to 3+ hours off-site. We can even build the presentation to include key points that you would like to highlight.
