Macon, Georgia - The Youth Ministries Office of the Georgia Baptist Convention will hold its 36th Annual Move Youth Evangelism Conference at the Macon Centreplex, January 3-4, 2014. The conference will begin Friday afternoon at 2:00pm with motivational workshops and the evening festivities will begin at 9:00pm with a concert featuring special musical performances by American Idol contestants Mandisa and Colton Dixon. The MOVE Conference will continue Saturday at 10:00am and conclude at 3:00pm
MOVE has met in Macon for more than the past 30 years. Approximately, 5,000 students from 300 churches across the Southeast will be arriving in Macon. This year, the conference will also feature comedy and drama sessions with a special appearance by The Skit Guys, as well as worship music sessions led by Brett Younker from the Passion Band.
MOVE is a winter conference created to minister to students by sharing the message of Jesus Christ. They partner with churches to provide a unique environment for God to move powerfully in the lives of students.
