MACON, Ga. -- In just a few short hours, Jason Aldean will return to the Macon Coliseum for his third Concert for the Kids' event.
The Visit Macon Center says its looking forward to hosting the country singer in his hometown.
According to Vice President of Marketing Valerie Bradley, the welcome center always anticipates a large crowd during entertainment events. She adds that any event -- whether it be a concert or a festival -- is always a good boost for the local economy.
“It’s an opportunity for people to spend the night in our hotels and come and have a chance to eat at our great restaurants and visit our attractions," she said.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
Proceeds will benefit the Beverly Knight Olsen Children's Hospital.
