Macon is filled with picture-perfect spots. Macon will also have a mural festival in September which will feature world-class artists creating beautiful artwork on the exterior of businesses all across the city.

Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park

Mounds that have been preserved for over 17,000 years and 8 miles of trails with beautiful landscapes from wetlands to lush forests...need we say more? National publications throughout the country have covered the preserved history and culture at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park as well as the current efforts to designate it as the nation's next national park. Triangle Arts Center

Triangle Arts Macon is a multi-structure facility that is used as a hub for Macon creatives, a gallery, and studio space. They also host art markets monthly. Downtown Rookery Alleyway

H&H Restaurants

Hay House

Lovingly nicknamed "The Palace of the South," the Hay House is an architectural gem. You’ll be transported back in time in this 18,000-square-foot mansion spanning four levels and crowned by a two-story cupola. The cupola is even open in the Summer time through their tours and offers a beautiful view of downtown Macon!

Tattnall Square Park Fountain

1842 Inn 

One of Macon's most historic and charming Bed & Breakfasts, with large pillars, a wrap-around veranda, and beautiful architecture, this location is popular as a wedding and engagement photography location. 

Little Richard Mural at Society Garden

A celebration of Little Richard's flair, wardrobe, and eclectic personality is on display at one of Macon's favorite beer gardens: Society Garden

Macon Rocks Mural

A tribute to Mercer University and the historic Capricorn Sounds Record Studio, this mural greets visitors from far and wide as they enter our vibrant downtown. 

Rose Hill Cemetery
