Warner Robins Independence Day Concert
The 34th Annual Independence Day Celebration will be this Friday, July 1 at McConnell-Talbert Stadium. There will be a free concert featuring country star Joe Nichols with special guest Colby Dee followed by the International City Builders Firework Extravaganza! Don’t miss out! Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
First Friday in Downtown Macon
Every First Friday of every month, the downtown area transforms into a multi-block party that’s fun for the entire family. Enjoy specials at local restaurants, listen to live music and walk through some of the art galleries.
Middle Georgia Summer Theatre Festival
Beginning July 1 through July 16, 2016 join Theatre Macon in their first ever Summer Theatre Festival. See three shows on three different stages throughout the downtown Macon area. During the weekend of July 4, see the great Fats Waller musical “Ain’t Misbehavin” at Theatre Macon running July 1-6, 2016.
Smiley's 4th of July Celebration
Happening on July 2, head out to Smiley's Flea Market from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. and celebrate Independence Day with face painting, carousel rides, games and prizes for the kids and a bounce house. This event offers family fun for all!
Ol' Time Independence Day at Jarrell Plantation
On July 2 from 10: 30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., put on your red, white and blue, pack a picnic, and spend a day at Jarrell Plantation. Hear the Declaration of Independence at noon and have some fun with outdoor games, races, and ol' time skill demonstrations.
Fireworks Show at Lake Tobesofkee
Enjoy Lake Tobesofkee's "Sparks Over the Park" fireworks show on July 4. All visitors should be in the park by 8 p.m. and the show will start at 9 p.m. Be sure to come out and watch a fantastic fireworks display!
